SERTICA is a technical Fleet Management Software providing an overview of an entire fleet. It secures a stable communication and data management between the main office and the vessels. It optimizes internal processes in relation to maintenance, procurement, HSQE and performance.

Tommy Karlsen, Supply Chain Manager at DESS Aquaculture Shipping AS, says, “We are excited about the Master Data Management module in SERTICA as it will give us easy maintenance of shared master data, full overview of fleet assets and maximized economic value of each vessel.”

DESS Aquaculture Shipping AS has a total fleet of 12 AQUA Vessels. The SERTICA contract covers all  units. There is a big newbuilding program going on shortly bringing up more vessels, with an ambition of having SERTICA covering more than 30 vessels. Hans Christian Jensen, Head of Sales at Logimatic says, “With all the new vessels coming up, the SERTICA Master Data Management can help keep track of the data of the same type of equipment on different vessels.” SERTICA is expected to be fully implemented and live on all ships by March 2020.

SERTICA provides DESS Aquaculture Shipping AS with a system with same simplicity and structure on all screens across departments. “The implementation of Master Data Management will reduce administration costs, breakdowns and downtime, and they will be able to create and maintain consistent master data in one place,” says Jens Elung, Project Manager at Logimatic.

Tommy Karlsen, Supply Chain Manager at DESS Aquaculture Shipping AS adds, “We choose SERTICA because our philosophy is “One System”, and SERTICA seems to be tailored around the seafarers onboard the vessels.”
