Logimatic partners up with IMPA
Logimatic is now officially distributor of the Marine Stores Guide (MSG) delivered by International Marine Purchasing Association (IMPA). IMPA’s MSG codes is being implemented in the SERTICA system to provide high quality and accurate procurement data.
The IMPA Marine Stores Guide provides a universal coding system to facilitate communication between ships’ crew, owner/manager offices and marine suppliers. IMPA’s mission is to promote and facilitate co-operation and understanding between purchasers and suppliers in the global maritime business.
There are three different types of data licenses in the Marine Stores Guide:
a) Buyers: for shipowners/ship management companies.
b) Suppliers: for ship suppliers.
c) Publisher License: for manufacturers, wholesalers and ship suppliers.

Language is not a barrier, since products are identified by a universal six-digit code.
